Roullete is a classic casino game that can offer real money winnings if you make the right bet. Roulette is played on a wheel that has 37 pockets, colored alternately red and black, and carries the numbers 1 through 36. In European-style roulette wheels, a green compartment holds the number 0. A croupier spins a small ball into one of the slots and announces that the bets have been placed.
The player makes a bet, either by placing chips directly on a particular number or grouping of numbers, on the color (red or black), or on whether a number is odd or even. The bets are then collected and the winner paid. The losing bets are cleared off the table and the dealer starts a new round.
